Mums

The Working Women
Recently, the topic, whether of not a woman should be allowed to work until her child is at least 12 years old, is widely discussed around the world. The people who think women should work said that getting a job is a basic right for women, but others thought family and baby are more important. So, what are the reasons? Well, let us go through it on both sides.
Why women should be allowed to work? Firstly, it is quite clear that a job means more incomes for the family. Money is really important for everyone, if the father wage is not enough to afford a family, the woman will need to find a job. In today’s society, one needs money to survive, in order to get money, one needs work. Secondly, some women feel a career and financial security is greater importance, they find more incomes imply a better quality of life. Afterwards, they firmly believed without any doubt that it is quite important to a woman to have financial independence in case of she find her along, and then she have to raise her child, then she needs money. Finally, they said anyone has the responsibility to be a contributing part of the society. Sometimes, a woman has no choice. The women who live in a poor part of Africa, although they normally have 3 or more children, they have to work. That’s because of the poverty. A woman who is living in a country which just finished a war, so that the country needs lots of labors, then she has to work. That is all of the reasons for why a woman should work which I want to concern.
So, why women should not be allowed to work until the children are at least 12? For women’s personalities, does baby and family come first or is a career and financial security of greater importance? It’s their families’ choice. If a mum went to work, she does not have enough time to look after her child, and there are so many problems between her and her child such as the meals may not on time, Next, the child who have little time to be with his mother might feel lonely. It said that the first tutor of a person is his mother. Thirdly, there are some historical factors. Earlier man was the provider of a family, and the women was the homemaker, that is, the history of working women is very short. The idea that defining a woman as a homemaker is still exist someone’s mind. There are many homemaker type wives in nowadays who perform household duties, cooking and cleaning, and raising children. This concept takes a big part. Eventually, if someone is asking why a married woman needs to work as opposed to rely on her husband then we are talking about something complete different. Let us assume that a woman is looking to be a “kept wife”, and then she provides companionship in exchange for financial support from her husband, much like an escort.
From my point of view, I prefer to let women stay home for looking after children. But I firmly believed that everyone is equal, men also have the responsibility to look after children. Then we got two chioces: 1.The man goes to work, and the woman stays home.2.The woman goes to work, the man stays home. Who earns more, goes to work. That’s my opinion.
In conclusion, there are lots of evidences to support both sides. Women have to comply with the requirements from their families and countries, that's it.
